dude, we are not trying to gang up on you.. it's just constructive criticism. you quote Ronnie but if you really where lifting heavy, you wouldn't be going to 12. you'd be ranging from 1-6 ish. Look at some of the stickys for workouts that have been proven to build some serious muscle, try them out for a month or two and you will see that it's not always about how much you do.
