I've never taken CLA and only read a little about it's effects. Apparentely though there is some recent literature that seems to indicate that it doesn't do diddly for humans.
I also saw something (Larson, et al.) saying that certain forms of it can be very harmful.
And CLA has been pretty heavily touted in recent years. Shows you gotta do your research.
Anyway, I was just throwing in the things I'd seen associated with insulin resistance.
