I don't know about the chicken. I looked though some old receipts and couldn't find a price. I am pretty sure it is around $7 at my Sam's Club (prices aren't always exactly the same at different locations). My bag is 6.5 lbs.

There's also giant bags of ground turkey burgers, chicken burgers (and frozen beef burgers). Even if the chicken breasts are the same, overall your gonna save a lot of money on other stuff you need anyway, so that should help.

You need some more protein in the morning. That would be a good time to eat eggs. Other than that do what 0311 suggested to get something between meals 2 and 4.

If you buy Omega 3 eggs that explains why you think eggs are too expensive. If your serious about gaining weight then get the cheapest eggs you can buy (factory eggs). You're already taking flax and fish oil caps anyway. If you want to splurge then get regular Organic eggs. I guarantee they taste better than the Omega 3 ones.
