[QUOTE=WonderMonkey]
I know guys who have trained for years and can't get even close. Now chances are they didn't train properly blah blah blah so it is unknown to me if they had real limits or just improper training.

If those guys you know were bodybuilders then they probably didn't care. I feel the only way to hit the 400+ club is to train for it. The reps have to be 1-3, you need to at least double your calorie consumption, and the list goes on and on. That's the difference between natural bodybuilders and powerlifters. Bodybuilders pick weights they can do 4-12 reps with, have perfect form, and do more isolation exercises-for the majority. Some bodybuilders do hit over 400 but they're few and far between, and more than half of them are chemically enhanced to take the stress of lifting as heavy as that. Powerlifters condition their body for it and could care less about form and alot of them could care less about something like abs or definition. That's why I like Max-OT because it's a combination of both worlds, and if I keep this pace, I'll probably hit 405 (all natural) :cool:
