Thanks peeps, this has to be the best site thus far. I dont see alot of the immature behavior here like you do in alot of the other ones.

Genetics
Couldnt be more on the money. My father is 5'7, had 1 heart attack, and weighs around 220. Mom was extremely obese and had a gastric bypass. My brother is 6'0 and damn near 280 with asthma. About 4 years ago, I went to the dr and my blood pressure was through the roof. I then realized that if I wanted to see my daughter grow up, then I had to make a change and stop using my family histroy as an excuse.Needles to say I did, I dropped from 294 to 220 is less than a year. The problem was I did it the wrong way. I was focused more on the cardio and extreme WEIGHT loss, and not the FAT loss. Final outcome was I dropped the pounds I wanted, but also the muscle. I was on 1000 calorie a day or less diet for the entire time, with one day of splurging with whatever I wanted to eat (Sundays). The problem was I had a traner that did not really look out for my best interest, as if he did he would have corrected this methodology. I have been able to get down to 212, but I seem to be stuck at 220 again.

Now, I am not so worried about the pund weight as I am reduvcing fat and gaining muscle tone. I cant seem to get either.

I was thinking of following the MHP\Macrobolic diet way of eating starting next week. I have truly come to the conclusion that I have reduced my bodys caloric nitake for so long, that I know need to go back up to a real daily intake of 2,000 or so. This is where I wanted the Macrobolic way to come in, and make all 2k calories a day perfectly proportiate to the 45\35
20 way.

Any additional advice would be great.
