Jags, Kane said it perfectly. This is a lifestyle not a whim for most of us. It is a major pain in the ass just to keep my diet clean and plan meals for the entire week. I work 10 to 12 hours a day and then I come home and workout and my wife is always bithchin about me not eating dinner with the family because I put my workout schedule first. My family as most normal people do eat when they are hungry I eat to feed my body and half the time I end up in a sweat and gagging because I am not hungry but I need to force down this chicken and rice so I can take a protein shake in another hour so I can workout in two. I will be sitting on a dozer on a 2 to 1 slope trying not to slide off the hill while I am choking down some broccoli and fish it never ends. Working out is the easy part, that is what I enjoy the hell out of, it is the diet that will make or break you and it is all consuming. That is how I ended up here, I have worked out on and off for 21 years (Longer than you have been alive) But I am always learning and looking for new ideas and listening to other people on what they are doing and what their results are. The day I know it all I will be pushing up daisies.
