Tuna is excellent and if it's in oil you can get some of the fat you need as well. I've done some research and in my opinion the Mercury thing is a little out of proportion but who knows. The advantage to the shakes is convenience. Easy to slam down inbetween meals for the extra protein and pre and post workout. Keep in mind shakes are not meals, they are a supplement.
