Um...good job on the squats. It was a third of the volume of your last squat workout. But you significantly improved your pr. Good job.

Well theres just going to be a limit to how heavy you can go for 20 reps on a DL without turning it into a rest-pause. Ask yourself how many reps you had left in you at the end of that. If you feel you can go heavier with 20 reps as you seem to be indicating them I'm assuming you left a little too much in the tank.

I know I'm hard to please but I'm not prone to handing out a pat on the back and going "oh wow, you did 20 whole reps!" without questioning whether it was approprately loaded. And here you go from low reps single set deadlifts right into 20 reps at a much lower intensity without even seeing if you could have kept a higher load and increased the reps. It's all over the place.

I'm seeing quotes from Dante about 20 rep squats and he even mentions 50 as if there is a comparison and then I see this and I have to wonder wtf is being accomplished here? All these quotes floating around out of context just creates a mess. This is not to disrespect Dante...it's just that when you start passing around isolated quotes from person to person pretty soon you start building up this kind of bastardized bible that no longer bares any resemblance to the original intentions of the man.

Just do some simple mathematics. Just in terms of simple volume. Say you put 110 kgs or maybe more on the bar and do 3 sets of 7 or something. You keep the rest periods short. Do the math. Consider how much higher the intensity is. Hell, you'd probably do 4 sets. What do you come out with? It's not hyperanalysis; it's really very simple. If you, Anuj, are able to generate that same kind of intensity for one set of 20 then fine. I personally wouldn't do deadlifts for 20 reps. It's too easy to get loose on your form. With deadlifts that is really not something I think you can afford.

If you act sanctimonious I will just list out your logical fallacies until you get pissed off and spew blasphemous remarks.
