I workout late too and it's ok to eat a post workout meal late because all your doing is replacing the energy that you just used up and then some for more repairs. For example, I do MMA for about 3 hours at night, 6:30 - 10:00ish, and I down in-between that time over 800 cals. and I'm doing fine in losing weight. You're in NJ so are you now working in NYC, grew up in NJ and most people that take the train go to NYC? If you are, ever think about joining a gym in NYC. I know it could be expensive but if you are that worried about eating late that could help.
