Default blancing bad proportions. help please.

Hello,
Woulld I simply be able to fix my weird proportions by doing light weights and high reps for lower body and low reps with bigger weights for upper body. For fixing the fact that my thighs , legs generally lower body is way bigger, thicker then my upper body. I gain weight almost like a women all the fat goes down. Its was like that when I was thin too so I think its just my body type.Would this tactic work? or the body doesn’t work that way? Thanks for all the help ,answers and suggestions.

Age:20
190 pounds
10.8 percent body fat.
Bench:220
deadlift: 280
squat: Maybe I should stop doing them??
