Well, I wouldn't worry too much about ANY mass and worry about strength endurance. I went to Marine Corps boot camp weighing a very solid 190 lbs and came out three months later at about 160. Just get used to long runs, pullups, and most importantly -> Eating only 2-3 very small meals. The meal plan was the only thing I had difficulty with. Breakfast was usually a small ice cream scoop of scrambled eggs, 1-2 silver dollar pancakes, and a small carton of milk (the kind you used to get in grade school). Good Luck!

exactly, i heard for the Marines its better to be light because u have more endurance for the runs and everything, thats why i dont want to gain alot, i just wanna add some muscle to my physique and be as strong as i can be for my weight.
