BTW, the FDA doesn't regulate supplements like whey as such, that's true. But they do regulate INFANT'S FORMULA. Guess what the most popular formula protein is? You guessed it: WHEY.

And if you think an USDA inspector has personally inspected every piece of meat you put in your mouth your mistaken. The FDA only has the resources to do a very small amount of labratory testing on meat. Most of the inspections are "visual" inspections for contamination they can see. But alas, even even USDA inspectors aren't endowed with microscopic vision and so can't detect e-coli or salmonella with their paltry human eyes.

My point, of course, is not that meat is bad, but that no one can depend on the FDA or USDA to keep them safe. It is up to us to inform ourselves. Most of my research on these subjects come from PubMed. Ever hear of it? You get what you look for when you "google". You look for bad things you get bad things. You have to learn how to do a legitimate search.

If you act sanctimonious I will just list out your logical fallacies until you get pissed off and spew blasphemous remarks.
