While muslce mass does not specificly equate to strength, you can rest assured that if YOU lose muscle mass YOU will lose strength.

I would suggest staying out of the gym while in a fasting state ... it will only cause you problems.

I'm not sure your definition of 'fasting' but if you can take in protien pills, or bcaa's then why cant you drink them? And whats more, if you can take protien pills, what makes that different then chewing an eating food? This makes absolutely no sense to me at all.
