Totally agree. I don't get out of MMA training till 9:30PM sometimes 10:30PM and I just stick to the basics, post workout meal and a solid meal ~1 hr. later. If you want to try something, start sipping your post workout meal about 20 minutes before your done. That way you’re getting your nutrients a little early but not too much, and you can eat your main meal a little sooner.
