Since I work out at home I can tell you from a direct standpoint that getting distracted and tongue wagging between sets will take away from you workout. One thing I have enjoyed is total emersion. Recently, however, my 4 year old has been joining me sometimes in my workouts. He wants to be with Daddy and pretend to workout (he doesn't think he's pretending!). At first he was all over the place getting in the way and engaging me between sets or doing something dangerous I had to stop him from. TOTALLY fucked up my workouts. Should have been catching my breath and staying in my own zone. So in general I definitely agree with the message here.

I disagree with the stretching during your workout if what that means is stretching between sets. BAD IDEA. Including fascia stretching. Stretching as most people know it DOES NOT increase strength. Don't know where the authour came up with that. You LOSE stength. Don't do that. Save it for the end of the set, i.e. when you are done with that part of your body.

If you act sanctimonious I will just list out your logical fallacies until you get pissed off and spew blasphemous remarks.
