LOL, Anuj, bro, calm down. You keep yelling at everyone who disagrees with me and pretty soon you'll be fighthing with 90% or our members . j/k.

Maddax...OP: original poster. Good shorthand. I'll keep that in mind.

Of course checking over posts is not required (although helpful) but there are times when considering other people's points of view is helpful.

Wow. That's a great though but a pretty much impossible order. Why? Because of the word "percieve". To me, that's what you are missing here. You percieve what has been said as rude and elitest. I percieve that people have actually continued to try and help by pointing jags back in the right direction. Or get him to do some reasearch on his own. I can understand where you are coming from and I would love it if always being gentle, polite, and patient would help everyone. But it doesn't always. Many times what you'll get is spending a whole lot of your time being gentle, polite, and patient while the person you are trying to help just continues to bleed you without ever engaging in a "conversation" and attempting to get from point A to B. The fact is some people need a kick in the ass and while you may percieve it as rude they are still trying to help. Sometimes you have to teach people how to learn before you can teach them. It is a question of style and perception, but not of intent. Sometimes people go overboard, I agree.

Hey ,a couple of us layed into Sentinel pretty good when he first came on, and look at him now, defending us tooth and nail. Hell, I still lay into him on a regular basis . Just kidding, A.

I have asked several questions of jag aimed at getting information from which I could form SPECIFIC advice. I NEVER recieved an answer of any kind, let alone a "flat out" one. He posted a question on an HST routine that was completely layed out saying he didn't understand it. People came back saying "what's not to understand?" A legitimate question. No one knew what he wanted explained, since everything was explained. He abandoned the post. There are many examples. I've seen this before and so have the other posters. He doens't want an answer, he just want's people to tell him what he wants to hear. Probably all we would have gotten was a "bump" for more responses.

So, again, I invite you to respond to his question if you see fit.

If you act sanctimonious I will just list out your logical fallacies until you get pissed off and spew blasphemous remarks.
