Basically I agree with what hrdgain says, it really depends on the type of diet you are following. There is alot of benefits to the yolk but if you are cutting you most likely want to limit the number of yolks you eat.
Personally I will have one or two whole eggs then a bunch of egg whites just to balance the fat/protein ratio.
