He's very right. And if there is anything wrong with your heart ignoring it won't make it go away. As I said before the most likely cause is too heavy weights or improper warmups. However it occured to me that you had been working out 5 days a week or something? For six months without a day off? THAT could lead to injuries depending on what you were doing.
