As much as you don't want to hear this, the muscle is probably strained IMO and needs probably at least 10 days of upper body rest to be safe. You dont want to turn a strain to something worse. Once I felt all the pain was gone I'd work it lightly before I went back to heavy lifting. Thats how I'd go about it. If it doesn't improve or gets worse youll be needing more time off.
