In the training sticky there are several strength and power programs. While training for football, I always emphasized on the big lifts...Bench, Squat, clean, hang clean, Dead lifts, Pullups, and rows. Going into the Gym and doing 80 sets of curls will not help you in football. As for your calves, standing calf raises and calve presses on the leg press in the 12-15 range worked good for me, youll just have to experiment.
