Default Newbie’s Guide to Gaining Muscle and Losing Fat.

Newbie’s Guide to Gaining Muscle and Losing Fat.
The Rant of Dr X.

If seen this question asked 1000 times and I need to vent.
So you’re new to the game of bodybuilding. You’ve been reading the magazines that make promises of rock hard abs in 6 weeks. Or lose 30lbs in 30 days and you are pumped. You see pictures of Olympians holding a jug of creatine and you know you are ready to take the plunge. Heck you even joined a forum. And what’s the first thing you ask. How do I gain muscle and lose fat. These questions are then followed up by how do I get abs, a big chest and biceps. And some, (o don’t get me started) some even go so far as to ask for steroid advice. Now much to the credit of veteran forum members, you have tried countless times to guide these newbie’s in the right direction. Myself included. We have posted stickes, we have critiqued diets and training and still you ask the same questions.

Let me tell you something Mr. 6’2” 160lb guy. You will never find your abs because you are starving yourself on 800 calories a day. No matter how hard you try that little roll of fat won’t go away. What little muscle tissue you have left will depart, but that fat will stay. Why? Because you are dying. I suggest you bulk you ass off for the next 2 years with a proper diet that has been laid out countless times and squat and dead lift until you puke, and you will have those bi’s and abs you want. And here is a little surprise for you. You will have gained a great amount of muscle, in all likelihood lost some fat and your back will be twice as big as your waist anyway. Then we can start looking for those abs that you have been developing the whole time.

Get rid of all the excuses,
I don’t have time to eat six meals a day.
I don’t have time to prepare meals.
I like to party on the weekends too much.
Squatting and dead lifts are too hard.
I don’t have time to lay out a diet.
I don’t have time to work on a routine.

Well then I don’t have time for you.
Stop wasting mine and I will stop wasting yours.
