Well just about everyone that comes on here and asks about a 5x5, whether complete newbie, intermediate, or what is, 9 times out of 10, asking about the advanced program. Also you just posted a thread asking about DFHT, another advanced loading protocol, so 0311 had some grounds for his assumption you were meaning the advanced.

Most everything I said refers to ALL intermediate fullbody programs periodized in this fashion, including, but not limited to, the one you linked.

We also have all these names floaing around causing all types of confusion. I just noticed a guy the other day thinking the advanced was appropriate for beginners. We have DF 5x5, "single factor 5x5", "linear periodized 5x5", "linear intermediate 5x5", Rippletoe's 3x5, Rippletoes Starting Strength....most people don't know beginner, intermediate or advanced from Adam. We would be much better to start calling these programs beginner, intermediate, and advanced and then referring to the "popular name". That would also help people understand that all these programs are examples of beginner, intermediate, and advanced programs but not the definition of them. But until we start doing that consistently there is going to be confusion.

If you act sanctimonious I will just list out your logical fallacies until you get pissed off and spew blasphemous remarks.
