Well lets say your taking any regular multi, and it provides 100% (based on 2000 cal diet or whatever) of 25 different vitamins per day.

But out of those 25 vitamins, your body may already have all it needs of say 15, 16, or 22 of them. That means your taking in a lot of extra vitamins that your body wont use, so you just piss them out.

This happens regardless of the multi you use, some people need more of one thing and less of another. The only way to really tell is to get blood work done, and see what your deficient(sp?) in, then suppliment with just those things. That may or may not be economical/reasonable for some of us, so taking the cheapest multi IMO will keep you from wasting a shit ton of money on stuff your probrably just pissing out anyway.
