There are a few threads in the training section that deal with strength-endurance programs but the main draw back is this: When you actively train for SE, your maximal strength output will not increase.

With that said, what I am doing is using the bill starr 5x5 program to bring my strength up first, then utilizing an SE program to see gain in that area.

Now if your just begining to "play" with MMA, there really is no reason to worry about this kind shit. Just go an have fun, work on technique, and get into it. when you feel as though you need to suppliment that (for competition or otherwise) then look into SE training.
^^ very true. If you're only "messing" around no need to be very strict with it.

If you go on youtube you will find mountains of information about MMA training. I'm sure if you type in MMA or strength endurance in the search section of this forum, you'll find what you need.
Also, if you want to change up some cardio. Get a duffle bag from an army store, some duct tape, zip lock bags, and some sand, make some sandbags and wrap them up in duct tape so it has less of a chance to break and start sand bag training. or by them here

anything you can do with weights you can to with a sandbag. Also, you can use a lot of the same exercises that you do with a kettlebell, with a sandbag.
