If you want to lose weight and gain muscle it's hard to do, but can be done (depending on how your conditions now).

Write down what you eat and when you eat it. That will help some of us find out what will work.(be honest about it)

I think when a person is trying to lose weight the supplements come into play alot more then when they are trying to gain weight (I could be wrong) When your cutting your diet is limited. Diary, red meat,nuts. These would be good to take while your trying to put on weight, but with most people if these are cut out they will notice it better. I'm not saying you can't eat red meat, but it's better if you stick to turkey,chicken,fish and eggs for your protein source.

That dosen't mean that you have to go out and spend a whole wack of $$ on supplements, but things like protein powder, creatine, fish oils,some put Waxy Maize on their list,these are very good to take.
