Those are some excellent points GD! It just sucks when you see something online, buy it, and when you get it the colors don't go with your skin tone!
One good thing I recommend is once you get clothes take them to get them custom fitted to your physique. There's nothing like having clothes show off your physique that you work so hard to get!
I even have clothes for winter bulking, as I need a little more room around the midsection at those times. And my spring/summer cutting clothes fit perfectly and show off, what I want to show off!
