Dude, 20 to 30 minutes of cardio is WAY more than a warm up. Try 5 to 10 at least. Your warm-up is not supposed to eat up energy you need for lifting weights.

Joker I don't think you will burn more muscle with an intense cardio. And you won't necessarily burn more fat with a long duration. I've posted tons of stuff on this both in the How to Cut sticky (only because some guy was spouting some weird stuff) and at the end of Sleazy's HIIT sticky just for reference.

I would say mix it up. I'm more of a higher intensity cardio fan but it's hard to say how much of that when couple with the weight work could be too much.
