WOW.. That kid is amazing. I've seen younger do Muay Thai fights but they are all padded up so it was very safe. I would assume that this kid would go into a ring with more pads on for protection. I don't know any sanctioned organization that would allow a kid to fight without more pads on.
I think it's fine to teach a kid that young MMA as long as he is taught to NOT use what he knows outside the Ring. When I have kids that will be the big rule. NO MMA outside the ring. But if he's taught to be a jerk and a bully then this is just what the media needs to talk trash about MMA.
