There have been tons of posts about this. Its also in the "Why aren't you growing" sticky.
In a nutshell, soreness or DOMS are not an accurate indicator for muscle growth. It doesn't mean the workout was bad or that it was good. If you're sore, chances are you've induced alot of microtrauma.
