All that 'shocking' your muscles is bullshit. Keep with a program until you stop seeing results, strength or otherwise. The main concepts for gaining muscle and strength are proper sets/reps, rest, eating, and continual overload (ie. progression) You can't keep overloading your muscles if your flipflopping programs every 6 weeks.
