Also, the HS banning the drink is ridiculous. They say the drink has 3x the caffeine, which they attribute the problem to, as 1 cup of coffee. Most people that drink coffee don't just drink 1 cup. So shouldn't that mean they should also ban coffee?
Well I don't really know about all the banning stuff. But coffee has about 100 grams of cafeine a cup. And there is a difference between getting 300 miligrams a shot and spacing it out. But I would guess these kids weren't coffee drinkers and so such a huge dose to someone unacustomed to it combined with the amplified affects on the nervous system with caffeine and yohimbe combined....

I'm very accustomed to caffeine so it wouldn't have made me sick either. And I don't think caffeine is the boogey-mans it's made out to be. However, I do agree that it is irresponsible for a company to be giving out a product containig huge dosages of stimulants in front accross from a school. But I'm a parent...

Those warnings on the cans are entirely appropriate also. Caffeine can be a very strong thing for the wrong person and yohimbe can be downright dangerous, especially combined with other nervous system stimulants. They are not "simple drinks". These are unnaturally occuring amounts of stimulants and it should be taken seriously.

If you act sanctimonious I will just list out your logical fallacies until you get pissed off and spew blasphemous remarks.
