I think in this instance the word
mock means
decieve, btw.
I.E. God is not fooled by wordly acts (acts of the flesh), ceremonies, etc. that come without true spiritual faith.
A thing I like to look at for these bible verses is "The Amplified Bible". It's a modern translation that further explains the certain words and takes the context into account. You can look at it online...
For this it says:
