The shoulder is the most complicated joint in the body. You can definitely have an injury where there is not too much pain. And there is bound to come a time when, like Scorcher, you "tweak" something in your shoulder and it will resolve on it's on. Lots of times injuries to the shoulder are "static" meaning they are just there and you work around them doing the things that don't hurt. But if there is a certain practice that led to the problem, and you continue with that, you are bound to make something little a lot bigger.

Don't let guys in the gym diagnose you.

Do what Dave said plus see a doctor to be sure. I have a feeling you doing a whole lot of bench and not having a well rounded routine which is a classic way (these days) to screw up you shoulders.

If you act sanctimonious I will just list out your logical fallacies until you get pissed off and spew blasphemous remarks.
