LOL. We have to draw the line somewhere in what we consider protein sources or other...else it gets ridiculous.
Beans are good sources of protein. The rest of it? It counts just like everything else that has protein. Talking about percentage of protein can be a little misleading, however because of the density of some foods compared to others. It makes more sense to talk about grams per serving or something a little more concrete.
