Those Foreman things suck (IMO). The absence of a floating hinge makes even cooking impossible if you're cooking anything thicker than a slice of bacon. And cleanup on those? Pfft!

There's another brand of those kind of things that's awesome (can't remember the damn brand off the top of my head). But it's pretty large, has three different kinds of plates (which are fully removable - easy to clean), can be used completely flat (as in a griddle fashion), or folded...and it actually has a floating hinge with something like 3 inches of travel to it.

But I go for the good ol' BBQ myself. I can cook 10 pounds of meat at a time if I want and there's literally no cleanup.
