I should get back on subject before the thread gets locked down, lol.

Kerpenen, on the wide grip bench it doesn't matter how it feels now or wheter it burns or wether, as the old standby goes, "it's never given you a problem". These kinds of things are cumulative in nature and benching like that a lot is going to put wear a tear on the shoulder girdle that will come back to haunt you. It's really a very bad idea. You need to choose a more neutral grip so that you can keep the elbows tucked in closer to your sides.

You may not have a problem today or even next year, but if you keep it up as the load goes up eventually you're bound to have big problems.
