Some questions: Can you progress on volume day? And what is 147.5 kgs to you? How long has it been now?

Besides basic set-up problems like starting with the knees past the bar and the shins too far away, about the deads and shins thing. Some people do have to dragthe bar on their shins regardless but no, not everyone. I've never had a big problem with shin drag. In fact if it happens it is because I am pulling back on the bar. For a guy my weight the best strategy is to pull the bar straight up in the shortest possible path. It is necessay to have the bar tucked in to the shins and the shoulders slightly forward of the bar on set up.

If you are pulling back on the bar I'd say don't do that. I know a lot of people have been instructed to do that but it is usually because you get the really heavy weights doing it and people don't realize their is an advantage to pulling back on the bar when you weight close to 300 or more and you're tall as shit. But for lighter dudes I'll bet that becomes more a detriment since your body weight isn't helping you very much, you're creating drag, and really, you'er just moving the bar back instead of up, which is where you want it to go.

If you act sanctimonious I will just list out your logical fallacies until you get pissed off and spew blasphemous remarks.
