Dave, since the debate still rages as far as steady state versus HIIT, I think I'll be doing both. I plan to do the HIIT after weights, and steady state on my days off.

I'll do the 16-20 minute HIIT Max-OT style after weight training. I'll do the stairs on chest and triceps day because the push muscles are so tweaked that holding the railings become useless. I'll up the intensity by sometimes doing shoulder circles on sprints. Sometimes I'll do the Lifecycle after legs to get a finishing pump.

On days off, I'll probably do the treadmill or stairs at around 120 bpm.

But thanks, I'm very cautious of dipping into the overtraining state. As
Mike Mentzer said, "Overtraining is the worst training mistake you can make."
