Good thing you're always there to smack some common sense into me. I read your PM, and I think I explained wrong the first time. It's definitely not near the hip, it's in the groin region. Has to be the adductor. I was going to go to the doctor today, but the more I thought about it, and the more I read, there doesn't seem to be anything he can do for it. So I'm going to take some naproxen and hold off on the squats for a week or two and see if it feels better. Problem is, I know that I need to fix this before I can get back into squatting, so I have to do something to strengthen those adductor muscles once the inflammation goes away. I'd like to continue working out though, so tomorrow I'm going to skip the squat, but try the bench and deadlift. I don't think the dead bothered it on Monday, so if I can continue to do that, then I'm thinking maybe we can modify my program a little. Maybe someone on here wouldn't mind throwing his $.02 into it? I'll have more info after tomorrows workout, but I'd hate to have to completely skip lower body for a few weeks while this heals up. How ironic when you think about it. I was upset because I wasn't squatting as much as I wanted to, but once I got there it turned out to be too much too soon. Sometimes you just can't win.
