well when i was around 14 i started doing push ups to get stronger. when i was 14 i was 240 and i did them every night except the weekends. it got to a point when i was able to do between 80 to 90 straight. i was doing around 350 to 400 every night. when i got under a bench both of my arms had the same amount of strenght and i was abel to lift a lot an di had crazy endurance. eventually when i got out of highschool didn thave the time for them any more.
i did notice though that no matter how much you lift that doesnt mean you can do pushups. i always felt pushups help with the bench, but bench doesnt help with pushups.
and even though everybody wants to lift a lot i personally would liek to have endurance included with strength. that may just be me lookin at strength from an athletes perspective.
all in all pushups are the truth. and i think i will have a good amount of endurance doing a good amount at my current weight
im working on being able to do a good amount of pull ups, and i want to do some hand stand push ups soon. i can do a handstand and hold it for a bit. but i have alot of work to do if i want ot get good with them handstands
