my philosophy is that no one should really get a whiff of your cologne unless they're coming in pretty close. when i'm getting ready, i put on some deodorant and then spray my cologne one time in front of me and walk through it. that way, people around you won't want to pass out but at the end of the night when she's leaning in for that kiss, she'll be able to smell it. it's all about subtlety. people overdo it too much on cologne
