Ok, so you were doing ok as for a PR's but your were stuck on deads. I take it you also wanted to be fresher on PR day so you too them off light day.

So if you kinda look at the deads in isolation nothing much has changed. You're still getting pr's and you're still stuck on deads.

I'm not saying you should move deads back or anything. I'm just saying that you are looking at the other stuff and saying it is too hard to follow deads with (which I agree with....that's why I put deads on light day even though that sucks too). BUT really nothing has changed...your are stuck at virtually the same place at deads so I would look at trying something different for deads.

When it comes down to it there are beau coup limitations to this and ANY fullbody 5x5 method. Just do the best you can with what you have, adjust what you can, and move on. I personally don't like anything that makes me have to deadlfit less often than I am capable of. When I was doing these 5x5's I'd say screw the other stuff if it meant I progressed on deads. But if that's what you have to do then do it.

You could simply prioritize the deads more also. Do them first and don't worry about the squat pr's so much. It pays to experiment. You may be a person who will progress better on deads doing them less often. Don't be afraid to play with it. The TM of anything else isn't foolproof as you well know and the things you learn about yourself will be a hundred times more valuable than anything you read in a book.
