I have the same problem with the ball of my left foot. sometimes it feels broken and stiff when i walk then at other times it's fine. think it's a pinched nerve or something hopefully not a stress fracture. i take a week off and it feels better. just give yourself some time to heel. i know injuries and getting sick are the biggest frustration when it comes to lifting but its better than injuring yourself worst. if it continues go see a doc.
