I've always taken Optimum Nutrition Gold 100% whey. It tastes good to me, cookies n creme flavored. Mixes well with water even. If you counting calories, I'd try 1 shake a day for a week. Then see if you can increase to 2 shakes a day following a weigh-in. Also, for cutting, it's more important to eat balanced meals. If you don't count calories, then I would suggest eating your heavier meals earlier in the day. Gives you more time to burn off some of the calories. Also, I would quit walking and maybe start a hit program. Maybe walk .10 of mile, do a hard run for .20 of a mile. If you don't use a treadmill, then use a clock. 30 seconds walking to around 1 minute running all out.
