If you have a high calorie protein power, most of those calories will likely come from maltodextrin and/or dextrose. How many grams of protein are in each scoop?

If I don't have time to head home after my workout, then I mix up everything at the house. Protein + carbs + creatine. Creatine monohydrate starts to break down when mixed in a liquid. So don't add water or milk to it until you're ready to drink it after the workout. Have you been taking the protein right after your workout? There is an "anabolic window" right after your workout when nutrient intake will be very high. That's what whey is best used for...it's a very fast digesting protein.

Here is what I might eat in a normal day:
Breakfast - 8:30
Shake - (Blend) 1 cup oatmeal, 2tbsp peanut butter, 48 gr protein from chocolate whey, 1/2 cup milk

Snack 11:00
2 Kashi TLC bars (Honey Almond Flax)
OR 1 protein bar

Lunch 2:00
1 can tuna
1/2 cup low fat cottage cheese
1 cup brown rice or whole grain pasta
1 cup steamed green veggie

Dinner 6:00
Chicken breast
1 cup brown rice or whole grain pasta
1 cup steamed green veggie

Snack 9:00
1 can tuna
1/2 cup cottage cheese

Hopefully that gives you some kind of idea how to take in some extra calories...the meals are spread out so I'm eating every few hours, but I'm not eating a lot at any one meal...lunch is normally my largest meal.

The way that most of the high school kids can afford this stuff is that they don't do it right. Aside from the fact that they aren't physically mature enough to do it, they normally don't run a PCT or just buy milk thistle and 6oxo or something like that. It's bad...

EDIT: Another option is to take the creatine pills with a sugary drink. Grape juice is very high in dextrose, which makes it a good choice.
