I have never really looked at the calorie content of my protien powder, just the grams of pro per serving. I would think that if one has more cals then another they are either different types of protien, or one has added carbs for taste or something. So more cals is not better persay, but I would look to see what else is in it.

I would definately suggest packing some sandwhiches or something. I dont know about pbj, but whole wheat bread with low salt cold cuts is a good idea. Maybe if you do pbj with natty peanut butter and perserves with no sugar added.

Ross has some great suggestions there too!
