I find 40 minutes...60 minutes of cardio not half as productive as a intense 16-20 minute session. When it comes to cardio there are two choices:
1. Quick and intense 16-20 minute session
2.45-60 minutes worth of low intensity (jogging, ect.)

For preserving muscle the first one is optimal.
