I tend to do heavy tricep extensions. I have almost no use for 12 reps of them or any of that. So I do them at least in the 4 to 6 range. I've even been known to do heavy triples and such. But I can't do that continually for the very reason people get elbow problems from too many extensions period. If you factor in heavier weights you get the same problem faster....the triceps can develop strength much more quickly than the joint can adapt to.
