Those look more like piriformis stretches, Marv. They might stretch the IT a little bit but I'd also try the standing stretch which you should feel better along the whole length of it and into the lateral knee area. Be careful of some of those stretches because of the lateral pressure they put on the knee. IME, the most effective ones have the stretched leg straight instead of bent and externally rotated.
