2hrs is WAAY too long to be in the gym. when you are in there, it should be short and INTENSE. otherwise you are just going through the motions.
think of it this way... if you were a runner, would you wanna look like a marathon runner or a sprinter? marathon runners are ethiopian look mofos that look frail and brittle. sprinters, look lean, muscular, healthy. what is the difference between the two? well, one trains for long periods of time, to run for long periods of time. one trains short/intense bursts to be quick and powerful.

get in there, do your lifts heavy and intense and get home and eat. you grow while recovering, not while you are lifting...
